Today is indeed a special day for us Muslims and especially for Malaysians.
My thoughts and prayers are with my friends who are at Arafah right now. I sure hope they remember to say a prayer or two for me.
Today is, of course, our Independence Day - Malaysia celebrates her 60th Merdeka today.
Alhamdulillah wa shukrulillah for an awesome country to call home.
A special day like this calls for a special feast for iftar today.
Tomorrow will be a bigger feast as we observe the Eidul Adha celebration. Yes, it will be the traditional chicken rendang, beef dendeng, ketupat, lemang and what not tomorrow. Today is a "big biryani day" as we normally do it here in Penang.
Alhamdulillah life is very good in Malaysia.
May life get only better for us Malaysians.
